In this episode of That’s What I’m Talking About, I’m getting a little more personal.
I’ve been in a tough spot lately—physically, emotionally, and honestly, spiritually too. I’ve been recovering from surgery, navigating the ups and downs of life, and like a lot of you, feeling pretty heavy about the state of the world. It’s not just politics anymore—it’s humanity. It’s how we’re treating each other. It’s wondering what kind of future we’re building, and who’s being left behind.
So yeah—this one’s real. I talk about my own struggles, my fears, and why I think now more than ever, we need to stop yelling and start listening. We don’t have to agree on everything, but we do have to care. About each other. About the future. About the kind of world we want to leave behind.
If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, or just plain tired—I see you. And this episode is for you.
Let’s talk about it. For real.

In this episode of "That’s What I’m Talking About," I’m diving into the cool (and sometimes tricky) world of AI with my buddy Julie Holmes. We’re chatting about how AI is changing everything right now—what’s exciting, what’s a bit scary, and how we can stay ahead by sharpening our human skills.
We’re talking about how AI can help us be more creative and get more done, but also why it’s super important to keep that human touch and critical thinking in the mix. Whether you’re all about AI or still on the fence, this episode has some interesting insights you’ll want to hear!

Welcome to the latest episode of "Sibling Rivalry," where we finally drag our brother Loren onto the podcast. He’s the last sibling to show up, so naturally, we had to make it a thing.
This episode is a trip down memory lane—think G.I. Joes, dirt bikes, and the kind of family chaos that only a large, blended family can deliver. There’s talk of Loren being carted around like a toddler, some questionable fashion choices, and the infamous family gatherings that defined our childhood.
We also get into the dynamics of growing up together, with a few heartfelt moments sprinkled in for good measure. It’s not all banter—just mostly. So, if you’re into awkward sibling memories and mildly embarrassing stories, this one’s for you. Tune in. Or don’t. Loren finally did.

Hey everyone! In this episode of "That’s What I’m Talking About," I have a really meaningful (and fun) conversation with Katy Rey, the inspiring founder of Fostering Hearts. We talk about how education can truly change the lives of vulnerable foster kids—and why showing up consistently makes all the difference. We share some laughs, get real about the challenges, and discuss how creating spaces where these kids feel seen, supported, and appreciated can make a huge impact.
We also chat about the world of nonprofit work—the passion it takes, the ups and downs, and some innovative programs making a real difference. Whether you’re already involved in charity work or just looking for ways to help out, this episode is packed with inspiration and practical ideas to get you moving in the right direction. You’ll come away feeling hyped and ready to make a difference!
